Fairy SAL

I finished another section of my Passione Ricamo Fairy.  I only have four sections left to go!  The right border is almost complete.  After the next section, both side borders will be finished.  The beading has been a lot of fun and I'm enjoying all the sparkles provided by Rainbow Gallery threads.  I can't believe I'm almost finished!

Plugging Along

I've been plugging along on my UFOs.  I just finished my rotation on Mr. Bear.  A cute kit I bought many years ago at Wal-Mart.  Oh well, any progress on a UFO is good, right?

Tuesday Night Stitching

I went to Tuesday Night Stitching at the library.  It was a small group, but we had a great time.  Nan and Martha showed up.  Martha's son showed up unexpectedly with her two grandsons.  They were there to sign up for summer reading so we got to enjoy them right along with her.  We laughed and stitched our hearts out.  I was able to finish my rotation on Sugarplum Stocking.  It's going to be cute (if I ever finish it!).

Stitching My Heart Out

Bobtail and I have been working on organizing the house.  We've been working hard.  Okay, I'm working hard.  But, I've been taking a lot of stitching breaks.  I am continuing rotations on my UFOs I began before I got distracted by my SALs.  I worked some more on my Teepee Bears rotation today.

Project Finished

I finished my Spring Break Project.  Yesterday was the last day of work before summer.  I've spent the last day stitching my heart out and relaxing.  I lost the original button for the project somewhere.  It is the O in my stitching alphabet.  I found one in my button jar that I think works perfectly!

Spring Break

Daddy and I went fishing for Spring Break.  We stayed in a wonderful cabin (The Sun and Sand Cabins in Grand Isle, LA) and had a wonderful time fishing.  We chartered a boat with Captain Danny Wray (Calmwater Charters) and caught 8 redfish and 2 speckled trouts.  Yummy yummy.  We caught a few small specks on the Bridgeside Fishing Pier, but we threw those back.  Daddy was trying to catch flounder.  No one was having luck with that, but there were a lot of black drums caught on the pier.  One guy even caught a ray!

Anyway while fishing our hearts out, I of course stitched mine out, too.  I decided to start a new project while I was at it (I don't have enough projects started, IMHO).  I began stitching on Stitching Row by Bent Creek.  I am over halfway finished with it.  Of course, mom has claimed it for her sewing room so I don't know why I'm in a hurry to finish it.  ;0)

In Memory

I finished a piece tonight.  I made a memorial for our beloved Girlfriend.  We lost our precious kitty February 8.  He was  a special kitty in many ways and I wanted to make the memorial for our family to remember him.
