Pooh Sampler rotation finished

I finished my 10 hour rotation on Too Much Honey, a sampler kit by Janlynn.  I did a lot of backstitch work at the bottom and finished the cross stitching on Eeyore, Tigger, and Pooh.  I just need to finish the background, backstitching and the alphabet at the top.  Not too much left!

Finished!

I finished my Coke Bears piece for Momma.  This is the final piece in the Coca Cola Polar Bears series so now she has them all stitched up (you're welcome, mom).

March WIPocalypse Check In

Topic:  If money and time were not limiters, I would buy sampler kits from Victoria Sampler.  I would love to have more of her samplers, gingerbread house kits, and the country kits designed by Thea Gouverneur.  I would also finish collecting patterns from my favorite designer, Nora Corbett.  I would purchase missing patterns from both her Nora Corbett and Mirabilia lines.

This month I am working on Coke Bears by Stoney Creek, Noah's Journey by Dimensions, Too Much Honey by Leisure Arts, and the Fairy of Destiny SAL by Passione Ricamo.

February Theme-a-Licious

The theme for February was Fangirl.  Since my favorite designer is Nora Corbett, I worked on Sabrina.  Here's a picture of the progress I made in February.

The theme for March is March Madness.  This means you work on a different piece each day.  Since I have a rotation system, this happens anyway.  So I'm going to work on my Passione Ricamo fairy as my focus piece in March.

Baby's Garden Quilt

I finished my rotation on Baby's Garden Quilt by Janlynn.  It's a cute little kit I picked up somewhere.  It doesn't look like much progress, but I finished the watering can, almost finished the bear on the left, and began the bear on the bottom.

February WIPocalypse Check In

Topic:  I have a rotation system in place so I really don't find myself in stitching ruts very often.  I have a basket with 4 project bags in them.  Each night, as I'm relaxing for bed, I grab the project bag in front.  I stitch while listening to an audiobook (each CD is approximately an hour, so I get an hour of stitching in before bedtime).  When the disc is over, I place that bag to the back of the basket.  When I don't feel like working on one of these projects, I always have a Mill Hill kit lying around to occupy my time with.

This month I am working on Coke Bears by Stoney Creek, Baby's Garden Quilt a kit by Janlynn, Too Much Honey by Leisure Arts, and the Fairy of Destiny SAL by Passione Ricamo.

January Theme-a-licious

Even though Heather from It's Geek to Me isn't continuing with her theme-a-licious challenge, I'm continuing with her themes.  The few months I was able to participate, it really kept me motivated.  So I have begun recycling her themes from 2013 and stitched on a garden this month in January.  I chose to work on my Around the World in 80 Stitches project.  Tons of flowers going on there.
